Arc is too hot cause voltage is high. Drop to 20 volts, my welds stopped burning through. Use 0.035-inch wire, Check 20 CFH gas, And clean with alcohol. Try short bursts.
Fan stopping is likely bad wiring. Check motor connections, And clean vents with compressed air. my welder runs cooler now. Test fan voltage, And replace if it is bad.
Holes comes from too much heat on thin steel, Set MIG-205DS to 18V for better control, My YesWelder burned through too, Use 0.030-inch wire for thinner sections, Clean with alcohol before welding, Set wire speed to 220 ipm for stability, Use 20 CFH argon for coverage, Use pulse mode if available, Ensure clean joint fit-up, Check ground clamp condition.
Slow feed comes from bad tension or worn rollers, Adjust drive roll tension on Rebel 235 careful, My Esab had slow feeding too, Use 230 ipm wire speed for smooth operation, Clean liner with alcohol to remove debris, Check for wire kinks or drag, Set voltage to 20V for stability, Replace worn rollers if needed, Ensure proper spool tension, Check ground clamp.
Adjust drive roll tension on your Esab EMP 210, set to 3.5, stops skipping.
Use 3M P100 respirator, it is safer.
Misaligned axles needs precise setup. Tack weld, check alignment with square, my trailer tracks straight. Use a laser level for accuracy, reweld if off.
Lower voltage to 18V on your Everlast tig welder, use 20 CFH argon, cuts spatter.
Use 3M auto-darkening helmet, it is safer.
slow dimming is from bad sensor, check Miller hood sensors for dirt.
Light tig glovs tear easy. Try Tillman 1350 glovs, Mine last longer. Reinforce seams with thread, And clean with alcohol to preserve it.
Pulsing arcs comes from bad contact or grounding issues, Check tip for wear or damage, My PowerMIG 260 pulsed too, Clean tip with alcohol to remove residue, Set wire speed to 230 ipm for consistency, Use 20 CFH argon for stable shielding, Set voltage to 22V for control, Tighten all connections secure, Ensure clean ground clamp, Check for steel contamination.
Use a teflon brush, it avoids scratches.
Arc wandering is from grounding or gas issues. check ground clamp for solid connection, adjust voltage to 19V, And set wire feed to 230 ipm. clean contact tip regular, and use a gas lense for better flow. this stabilizes the arc.
Replace scratched lenses with a Phillips safety lense, My vision got better. Store in a soft bag, And clean with alcohol, not abrasives, to prevent scratches.
slow dimming is from bad sensor, check hood sensors for dirt.
Use a Cougartron Powerbrush, it cleans better.
Check for gas leaks on your Esab Rebel 215ic, use 25 CFH argon, fixes porosity.
Thick steel needs higher voltage, Set Handler 190 to 24V, Use 7018 electrode for better penetration, My Hobart struggled too, Clean steel with acetone, set wire speed to 250 ipm, and use 25 CFH argon.
Blank display is likely a bad board. Check connections and tighten screws, my display came back. Test input power, And clean with alcohol. Contact YesWelder support if it keeps up.
Failing welds need better prep. Bevel edges for penetration. Use 7018 rod at 130 amps. My rack holds 2000 lbs. Add gussets. Clean with alcohol. Use a level.
Blank display is likely a bad board. Check connections and tighten screws, My display came back. Test input power, And clean with alcohol. Call Everlast support if it keeps up.
Weak arc is from low air pressure. Bump to 75 PSI, my combo cuts better.
Apply 3M anti-fog spray and clean with alcohol, My Jackson lense stays clear.
