  Use shade 11 lense, it is better for bright arcs.

  Eye strain is from bad lense shade. Use shade 10 3M helmet, my eyes stopped straining. Clean lense with alchohol, rest eyes.

  wear safety glasses under helmet, my eyes feel better.
