Miller Welder Arc Won’t Hold

        i am frustrated cause my Miller Millermatic 252 arc won’t hold steady at 24 volts, And it keeps breaking. Can you give me a solution to this?

          Arc is breaking cause of a bad ground. Check clamp for corrosion, And use 0.035-inch wire. my arc stabilized after that. Clean with alcohol, And set 280 IPM.

            Use clean steel, It helps the arc stay steady.

              Check voltage, my Millermatic welds smooth at 22 volts.

                Use 20 CFH gas flow, my welds got better after that.

                  Bad ground cable is causing arc breaks. Replace the clamp, my Miller works now.
