To all community members, in a trouble cause my YesWelder TIG-205P arc won’t ignite, Using 1/16-inch tungsten at 20 CFH argon, and ground clamp is secure. what is wrong?

Arc failure comes from bad tungsten or grounding, Check tungsten for wear or contamination, My YesWelder failed to start too, Clean with alcohol, Set to 120 amps for 1/8-inch steel, Use 25 CFH argon, Check polarity, Sharpen tungsten proper.

non-igniting arc comes from dirty steel surfaces, Clean with acetone thorough before welding, My YesWelder starts reliable now, Check ground clamp condition.

Try fresh tungsten, it helps with ignition.

Check gas flow, low argon prevents arc ignition.

Use 2% thoriated tungsten, it improves arc starting.
