This is driving me nuts cause my YesWelder MIG-205DS welds has black spots on steel, Using 0.035-inch wire at 24V, and welds looks dirty. any fixes?

Black spots comes from poor surface prep or gas issues, Clean steel with acetone before welding, My YesWelder MIG-205DS had same issues, Use 25 CFH argon for proper coverage, Check for gas hose leaks, Set wire speed to 240 ipm for consistency, Use 7018 electrodes for cleaner welds, Ensure clean joint fit-up, Use wire brush for prep, Verify regulator settings.

dirty welds comes from dirty surfaces, Degrease with alcohol thorough before welding, My YesWelder welds clean now, Check gas flow for consistency.

Use wire brush for surface prep, it helps.

Check gas regulator for proper flow, it improves weld quality.
