Why Is Plasma Cut Edge Jagged?

        My plasma cut edges is jagged on 1/4-inch steel using Hypertherm Powermax 45, cuts looks rough. Can you give me a solution to this?

          Jagged cuts mean wrong settings. Use 40 amps for 1/4-inch steel. My cuts smoothed out. Check torch height at 0.06 inches. Use a guide rail. Slow speed to 20 IPM. Calibrate Hypertherm.

            Use CNC plasma for smoother cuts.
