Struggling with amico power welder on 1/8-inch 7018 electrodes — spatter

        Hi guys, my Amico Power welder on 1/8-inch 7018 electrodes spatters, worse on vertical, cleaned with acetone. Can you give me a solution to this?

          duty cycle kicked in early, caused same issue.

            switch torch angle counterclockwise, fixed it for me.

              Pushing too fast caused undercutting, slow down.

                Flip to DCEN polarity, porosity is gone.

                  lift torch between tacks, it worked for me.
