miller welder hood dims too slow

        my Miller hood dims too slow, using Millermatic 211 at 20v. Eyes hurt, shade 10 lens, Can you give me a solution to this?

          slow dimming is from bad sensor, check Miller hood sensors for dirt.

            Use shade 12, it is safer.

              Slow auto-darkening is risky. Get a new Miller hood, mine stopped hurting. Use shade 11, clean with alchohol, check battery, and wear safety glasses.

                replace batteries yearly, my Miller is fine.
