Lincoln welder shocks in damp garage

        my Lincoln PowerMIG 260 shocks me in wet garage, using 0.035-inch wire at 24v. Floor is damp, Can you give me a solution to this?

          Wet floors cause shocks. Use rubber mats, my Lincoln stopped shocking. Wear insulated gloves and dry floor.

            Use dry boots, they is safer.

              Wet garages are risky. Check clamp for rust, my PowerMIG 260 shocked me too. Use 240v circuit, test with multimeter, clean with alchohol, and keep cables dry. Use fire-resistant mats.

                move welder indoors, my Lincoln is fine.

                  check cables for water damage, replace if wet.
