Hi guys i am a little bit confused cause my Esab Rebel 235 welds weak on steel, Using 0.035-inch wire at 22V, and welds don’t hold. How i can avoid this problem?

Weak welds comes from low voltage, Bump to 24V, My Esab Rebel welded better after, Use 25 CFH argon, set wire speed to 240 ipm, clean with acetone, and check for joint fit-up.

Try 0.030-inch wire, it gets better penetration.

low amps causes weak welds, Increase to 180 amps, My Esab holds strong now.

Check the ground clamp, loose ones reduces strength.
