My Hobart welder and plasma cutter combo is arc is weak at 45A, 70 PSI on 3/8-inch steel, cuts is shallow. Any solutions?

Replace torch electrode if worn, clean tip with alcohol to boost arc.

Weak arc is from low air pressure. Bump to 75 PSI, my Hobart cuts better.

Check air hose for leaks, increase to 75 PSI to improve cut.

Weak arc is from worn electrode. Replace torch tip, use 75 PSI, my Hobart struggled too. Check air hose for leaks, try slower travel speed, use 50A for deeper cuts to improve penetration.
