i’m a little bit in trouble cause my Hobart Handler 190 burns through aluminum, Using 0.035-inch 4043 wire at 22V, and welds melts. How i can avoid this problem?

Burn-through means high voltage, Set Handler 190 to 20V, My Hobart burned through too, Use 0.030-inch wire for control, Clean with alcohol, set wire speed to 220 ipm, and use 20 CFH argon.

Try a spool gun for aluminum, it works better.

high heat causes burn-through, Lower to 18V, My Hobart welds aluminum now.

Use 0.025-inch wire, it is less heat for aluminum.

Check the ground clamp, loose ones causes burn-through.
