Hi guys i am a little bit confused cause my Hobart Handler 190 arc feels weak, Using 0.030-inch wire at 22V, and welds don’t penetrate. Any fixes?

Weak arc is from low voltage, Bump to 24V, My Handler 190 was weak too, Use 7018 electrode for penetration, Clean steel with acetone, set wire speed to 250 ipm, and check ground clamp.

Try 0.035-inch wire, it gives a better arc.

low amps weakens arc, Increase to 180 amps, My Hobart welds strong now.

Check the contact tip, worn ones weakens arc.
