This is getting old cause my Esab Rebel 235 welds look lumpy on steel, Using 0.035-inch wire at 22V, and welds is uneven. what is wrong?

Lumpy welds comes from bad settings or prep, Adjust wire speed to 240 ipm for consistency, My Esab Rebel had lumpy welds too, Use 20 CFH argon for coverage, Clean steel with acetone, Check tension on drive rolls, Set voltage to 20V, Ensure proper liner condition.

Try 0.030-inch wire, it makes welds smoother.

uneven welds comes from dirty steel surface, Degrease with alcohol before welding, My Esab welds smooth and clean now, Check gas flow consistency.

Check liner for clogs, clean with alcohol.
