Hi guys, my Esab Rebel 205 spool gun spatters bad with 0.035-inch 4043 wire at 19V, And welds looks messy. Any solution?

Use a gas lense, it gives better gas coverage for cleaner welds.

spatter is from gas flow or worn parts. Use anti-spatter gel on nozzle, check contact tip for wear, And set argon to 25 CFH. use 220 ipm wire feed, and clean liner with acetone. this reduces mess.

Switch to 0.030-inch wire for less mess, check polarity is set right, And clean aluminum with alcohol.

lower voltage to 17V, It cuts down spatter for better welds.
