esab hood lens scratches easy

        my Esab hood lens scratches fast, using Rebel 235 at 22v. Sparks blur vision, can’t see puddle, Can you give me a solution to this?

          Use clear lens covers, they protect lens.

            Scratched lenses mess up visibility. Get cover lenses for Esab, drop to 20v, and set 230 ipm. Clean with acetone, use shade 11, and keep shop clean.

              replace lens monthly, my Esab is fine.

                high sparks mean bad settings, drop to 18v.
