How Safe Is Welding Without Respirator?

        I’m feeling bad welding without respirator, using Esab Rebel 235. Throat sore, any fixes?

          Use 3M P100 respirator, it is safer.

            Welding without respirator hurts lungs. Use 3M P100 respirator, my throat stopped hurting. Add exhaust fan, open windows, clean filters with alchohol.

              ventilation clears fumes, my Esab is safer.
