This is killing me cause my YesWelder TIG-205P welds look weird on steel, Using 1/16-inch tungsten at 20 CFH argon, and welds has odd patterns. what is causing this?

odd patterns comes from dirty steel surfaces, Degrease with alcohol thorough before welding, My YesWelder welds clean now, Check gas flow consistency.

Weird welds comes from poor prep or settings, Clean steel with acetone before welding, My YesWelder had same issue, Use 120 amps for 1/8-inch steel, Set AC balance to 65%, Check tungsten sharpness, Use 25 CFH argon, Ensure clean joint fit-up.

Try 2% lanthanated tungsten, it makes welds cleaner.
