To all community members, out of ideas cause my Millermatic 211 arc drifts on aluminum, Using 0.035-inch 4043 wire at 20V, and welds looks weird. Can you give me a solution to this?

Try a spool gun for aluminum, it works better.

Arc drift comes from bad grounding or prep, Check clamp for rust or wear, My Millermatic 211 drifted too, Use 100% argon at 25 CFH, Clean with alcohol, Push wire don’t pull, Check spool gun tension, Use 250 ipm.

weird welds comes from dirty aluminum surfaces, Degrease with acetone thorough before welding, My Miller welds aluminum clean now, Check gas flow consistency.

Check gas flow, low argon causes drift.

Use 0.025-inch wire, it improves aluminum weld stability.
