I’m losing patience cause my Lincoln PowerMIG 260 burns through thin steel, Using 0.035-inch wire at 24V, and welds has holes. Can you give me a solution to this?

Holes mean excessive heat on steel, Set PowerMIG 260 to 18V for control, Use 0.030-inch wire for better results, My Lincoln burned through too, Clean with alcohol, Set wire speed to 220 ipm, Use 20 CFH argon, Use pulse mode.

Try pulse mode for thin steel, it helps.

burn-through comes from high heat settings, Lower to 16V for better control, My Lincoln welds thin steel smooth now, Clean metal with acetone.
