My steel sculpture base warps at corners using 1/8-inch plate with Unimig MIG, frame twists. Can you give me a solution to this?

Warping comes from uneven heat. Tack corners first, use short beads. My base stayed square. Clamp to a jig. Cool with wet rags. Use 0.035-inch wire at 20 volts.

Use TIG for less distortion.

Add reinforcement plates. My sculpture base holds firm. Clean with alcohol.
