Hi guys, my Miller portable spot welder is giving inconsistent welds with 0.2mm nickel strips on 18650 batteries, And some welds fails. Any tips?

Use 30J pulse for better results, clean terminals with alcohol, And check battery charge level.

inconsistent welds comes from bad contact or settings. Clean battery terminals with alcohol, use 0.15mm strips for easier welding, And set pulse to 6-8. check battery charge, and keep firm electrode pressure. This makes welds stronger.
