Why is All community members, my Lincoln Power MIG 215 spool gun burning through with 0.035-inch wire at 90 amps? it is leaving holes in aluminum. Any fixes?

Burn-through is from too much heat. use 0.030-inch wire for less heat, set voltage to 15V, And do short welds to manage heat. check argon at 22 CFH, and clamp material tight. this prevents holes in aluminum.

use a C25 gas mix for heat control, tack weld first to hold shape, And clean contact tip regular.

Short bursts helps reduce burn-through, it keeps heat in check.
