To all community members, I am annoyed cause my Miller Multimatic 215 arc is weak on steel at 22 volts, And welds is thin. What is the fix?

Weak arc is from a bad ground. Check clamp for corrosion, And use 0.035-inch wire. my welds got stronger after that. Clean with alcohol, And set 280 IPM.

Multimatic needs more juice. Use 24 volts for steel, My arc got better.

Use clean steel, It makes the arc stronger.

Check ground cable length, my arc stabilized after keeping it short.

Use 20 CFH gas flow, My welds look better after cleaning the surface.
